Privacy Policy

WeldSet has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising or tracking. The calculator works entirely on your device and runs fine with no internet connection. The only time anything leaves your phone is if you choose to send us feedback — details below.
What stays on your device
- Your saved jobs, machine names, notes, and bead photos
- Your preferences (units, etc.)
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. It never leaves your device, and we never see it. Deleting the app removes it.
If you send feedback (optional)
WeldSet includes an optional in-app feedback feature. It does nothing unless you open it and submit. If you do, we receive:
- The feedback you write (your message and its category — bug, idea, or love)
- Basic technical context to help us act on it: the app version, your device model, and iOS version
- Your email address — only if you choose to enter it so we can tell you when your idea ships
This is sent to our feedback service (api.aiappnation.com) and used solely to read, respond to, and prioritize feedback for the app. It is associated with your submission so we can follow up, and is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to track you across other apps or websites. Don't want to share anything? Simply don't use the feedback feature — the calculator is fully functional without it.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment — WeldSet never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Sharing a settings card
When you share a settings card, your device's standard share sheet (AirDrop, Messages, etc.) sends it wherever you choose. We are not involved and receive nothing.
Children
WeldSet is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can use every part of the calculator without sending us anything. If you've emailed us and want your message and email removed from our feedback records, write to [email protected] and we'll delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
